After what Bob Taft had done to Ohio's GOP, Strickland was going to cruise to a win regardless. Blaming Blackwell for that is silly.

Mandel can only run the same commercial with him in military gear so many times before fatigue sets in with voters. He really has nothing else to run on at this point in his career. Plus, he promised to serve his entire first term as Treasure. If he goes back on his word you know Brown and Dems will jump all over him, and rightfully so. Let him compile a resume based upon his success as Treasurer and run for something else down the line.Mortgage Bankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08603897826821201201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7743530438680774250.post-74614429454545424482011-04-26T22:14:23.980-04:002011-04-26T22:14:23.980-04:00OMG! Only when the field has been cleared for him. But in his gubernatorial run in 2006, his organization was seriously lacking.

I'm a local grass roots activist who would love nothing more than to defeat Sherrod Brown in my county. But with Blackwell? Sorry, I won't be motivated. It would have been different if his '06 effort had the bones of a good organization that was overrun by the opposition's momentum. But he had nothing. No way am I going to put forth an effort for this guy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
