Where was the urgency before? Do you really think the unions will allow this to be an "intellectual debate"!?? We will see $50 million MINIMUM poured into the state by big labor. Think they'll be fair? Think they will make "intellectual arguments"? If you do, you are naive.

I think we have a shot of winning RTW, but the risk of reelecting Obama is far far too great. Use your head. Waiting one more year is not backing away from principles. Its called putting our priorities in order and not risking keeping the socialist in office. I will gladly sign the petition and circulate them for the 2013 ballot, but not for this years.Nick (aka Bytor)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15826772166599084105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7743530438680774250.post-25028666180340588022012-03-01T00:51:19.938-05:002012-03-01T00:51:19.938-05:00Why the hell would Ohio Republicans back down from...Why the hell would Ohio Republicans back down from their principles in order to win an election? I am not a Chris Littleton supporter...nor am I a Ron Paul supporter, but we can win an intellectual debate on this issue. This is not issue bill 5 reincarnated...instead it is an issue that could help thousands of jobs come to the state of Ohio. Big Labor will not be able to put fireman on the radio and tv...stating they can not fight fires anymore because they can not collectively bargain for health insurance....this is a matter of workplace rights. Shame on this blog for backing down in fear of losing on an issue...if we do not support this and our own issues...what differs us from democrats?

side note...Joe from Sidney..I am the reason for all the Santorum signs in town...I PICKED RICK!

other side note....I am starting to like this ohio blog better

www.ohioright.comNathanZehringerfromSIdneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00582605905259235481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7743530438680774250.post-4588413453670843282012-02-03T21:00:15.388-05:002012-02-03T21:00:15.388-05:00I recall the last time Ohio had Right to Work on t...I recall the last time Ohio had Right to Work on the ballot. My father was a member of the county Republican Central Committee. I can remember him fuming about the bad decision made to put RTW on the ballot. He was convinced that the result would be a high turnout by labor union members, with the result that a lot of Republican candidates would lose. He turned out to be right. I'm in favor of RTW, but not at the expense of rallying the opposition.JoeFromSidneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11187109527767778591noreply@blogger.com
