Obviously If we all were not our best people when we were in high school, but the way that he just glibly shrugs his shoulders with the "oh well" approach to it is what troubles me. If he simply said "I was young and stupid" people would let it go. However he just kind of says "ah shucks" and it causes the situation to snowball...
