Mitt Romney has been relying on Kevin DeWine and disgraced former political aid Brett Buerck to run his Ohio campaign. It hasn't been going so well lately.
Romney is down by 11 here in the Buckeye State.
Today, the Romney campaign released it's Ohio Leadership Team. It's loaded with Ohio Republican heavyweights, from the most conservative to the more moderate. That leaves one wondering...why would Brett Buerck need to fabricate an Ohio State Representative out of whole cloth?
Here is a screen capture of the list, in case the page gets scrubbed later.
State Rep. Mark Butterworth? There is no State Rep. Mark Butterworth. And there never has been. Mitt better hope that Senator Portman does a better job than Buerck and DeWine have. The primary is only a week away.

. . .and the only Rep with the first name "Mark" is Rep. Mark Okey (Dem)---how dumb does DeWine think Ohioans are???
I think we should all call either the State House or the OH GOP and ask to speak with Rep. Butterworth who is listed on the Ohio Leadership team supporting Romney?

I'm going to guess that the 'Mark Butterworth' they're referring to is the ex-city councilman from Canton. Still a stupid unforced error, but a step above being entirely made up.
