Public employee unions vs taxpayers

A couple of good videos making their way around. They should've put Ted Strickland in the section about politicians being lobbied by unions with tax dollars.

I added a second video for the sheer entertainment value of these union members' arguments. These people are seriously comparing themselves to Jews in Nazi Germany.

  1. Yeah, when you start comparing people to Hitler, or yourselves to the Jews during WWII you lose the argument, no matter if your initial point is right or wrong...

  2. The next time you have a fire at your house, or people breaking and entering, then go ahead and call. You might be surprised at the response you receive someday. What you're going to learn is the United States is not immune to the realites manifesting themselves in places like Libya. So, it's 56 days and counting. And no new net private sector jobs... good luck to you.

  3. What a moronic comment.

More threats eh? Did you know that in other states, public employees unions are already banned from collective bargaining? Do you think they still have police and fire?

Your Libya comment doesn't even make sense.

  4. Go ahead, offend me and my family. Ignore Senators Seitz and Grendell's counsel. If you and Mr. Kasich would like to pick a fight with Ohio's God fearing and Episcopal Republican families...well, bring it on. I, at least, respond that you don't defend this Great State well, you don't diaper its children and educate them, and you don't put out its fires and defend its liberties under the God we trust. So, again good luck to you.

And may I be so bold as to ask what you have done to create a job? My point is that it is up to people such as you and me, in the private sector, to create jobs.

Those who think government creates jobs are fooling themselves; government can, however, create the environment for risk takers to do so.
