Newtification

Obama has invited Newt Gingrich, among others, to the White House today to discuss education issues.

As some have discussed already elsewhere, this is good for both of them, Newt gets his profile raised as a leader of the opposition and Obama ultimately gets to say the Republicans are bringing back a failed leader of the '90s.

For me, what will be most interesting to watch from this meeting is how Newt comes out of it. Will he come out complimenting the President on his willingness to discuss new ideas, or will he use the platform to call Obama out on such important issues as school choice?

Wait and see.
