In it, Larkin focuses on the overwhelming success of charter schools and the utterly illogical efforts of Gov. Strickland to destroy them.
While the column can only be done justice by reading it in its entirety, I will give you this small nugget of truth to tease you with...
Strickland's calling seems to involve being dishonest with voters on this issue. Friday, in response to a question at the City Club, the governor had the audacity to praise E Prep's success, adding, "I would like to see more schools doing as E Prep is doing."The column perfectly establishes the success of charter schools, and E Prep in Cleveland specifically. And it outlines the downright foolishness of any effort to destroy them. So, just a few weeks after trying to wreck the school, Strickland tries to tell us he loves it. The man has no shame.

Too many Ohio children are being left to chance by the lack of serious accountability. Too many Ohio taxpayer dollars are being wasted on a perpetually failing program.Who wrote that piece of garbage?
The Ohio Education Association.
Why does that matter?
Because since Ted Strickland became Governor, the Ohio Education Association has been the 2nd highest contributor to.....
....wait for it....
Governor Ted Strickland.
Stay classy, Jello Stricktaft.
