With all the media coverage of the Democrats bypassing the conference process and negotiating final details of Obamacare in private, I wonder why the House GOP hasn't had fun with a little photo op.
For instance, yesterday when Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and company were at the White House all day hammering out details, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, and company should have taken a drive down to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW and stood outside one of the gates. Their press secretaries could call up a few reporters and get a few shots of Republicans waiting to be involved in the process.
In lieu of that, how about a small army of Congressmen heading over to the Speaker's office in the Capitol building and waiting outside the door in case Pelosi is ready to negotiate?
Give it a shot, fellas. If nothing else, it's a good photo op that extends the story another day.
