Strickland has a crush.

He has to.

There's no other way to explain this delusion.
Republicans have been hammering Gov. Ted Strickland for not naming a permanent development director since Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher relinquished the role in February to run for the U.S. Senate, but Strickland says he's in no hurry to act.

That's because the governor said he is satisfied with the job being done by Lisa Patt-McDaniel, interim director at the Ohio Department of Development.
Satisfied?

Since Lisa, who has zero experience in the private sector, signed up as interim director, Ohio unemployment has increased by over 17%.

THAT is satisfactory, Governor?

Do you even want your job anymore? I mean, seriously.

On a sidenote, I love that this is even a story. In fact, I wonder who started the revivial of the 'interim director' talking point... hmmmm.....
