More "New Tone" from the Left

This past Monday Democrats and their union boss allies used Labor Day to denounce any and all voices that disagree with them, particularly the Tea Party.  For all the airy rhetoric of a "New Tone" in politics after the shooting of Congresswoman Giffords and others in Arizona, liberals still have an anything goes mentality toward conservatives, a mentality displayed by Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa.

At the Labor Day event in Detroit, with none other than President 'Zero Jobs Added' Barack Obama just feet away, Hoffa told the crowd that war had been declared on workers by the Tea Party before saying this:
President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let's take these son of b****es out and give America back to an America where we belong
Hoffa's words are incendiary, but of course he's a major union leader, not an elected official after all. Surely no political figure on the left would violate the gospel of New Tone.

Except of course for the Vice President.
You are the only folks keeping the barbarians from the gates.
These moments from Monday are just a continuation of the same liberal rhetoric that claims Tea Partiers want to see blacks hanging from trees and wants the same people to go straight to hell.  When confronted with such incendiary comments, the White House and DNC can't be bothered to do so much as question the word choice of Hoffa and the rest.  All press secretary Jay Carney can be bothered to say is that Hoffa speaks for himself.

So much for that call for unity by Obama.

  1. He was talking about voting them out. You're taking what Hoffa said out of context (as usual)

  2. What absolute nonsense. Even for someone as lame as modern this is poor.

Nobody took Hoffa out of context. No one. I write this with such certainty because Americans have had ample opportunity to watch how union thugs operate.

Here's an example from that bastion of rightwing extremism, Washington state:

Will ya look at that, destroying property and taking hostages. And these union thugs are outraged, not because thier employer hired non union scabs but because other union members are doing the work.

So we understood, quite clearly, what Hoffa said. the examples of union thuggery are just too commonplace in America today.

Further how short modern's memory is! It was just a few months ago that the left's smear machine went balls to the wall blaming Sarah Palin for the Giffords shooting. After lying through their teeth for days their horse's rump of a leader (is he leading from Modern's behind?) scolded us about a lack of civility.

What all of this amounts to is simple: Liberal rule number one is "do as we say, not as we do". Obama's praise of Hoffa is just proof that this hypocrasy is so ingrained in lefties they don't even notice it anymore.

What can we expect? Fish don't know that they're wet and liberals don't know that they're hypocrites.

  4. The know(that they're hypocrites), they just don't give a damn -- so long as they can get (or keep) power.

  5. "Nobody took Hoffa out of context," huh?

A Fox affiliate in Cincinnati found that Fox News took Hoffa's statements entirely out of context.

You don't address the full context of Hoffa's statement. Instead, you try changing the topic.

Yet another flat out discredited lie spread by this blog. Like Kasich saying that if Issue 2 fails, Ohio will adopt card check, Kasich will raise the CAT tax, etc.

    You guys are pathetic.

  6. I listened to the entire speech. I understood exactly what Hoffa was saying.

This is not even a nice try. Modern's lameness (lame osity?) is becoming quite entertaining.

No profanity, keep it clean.
