Arrrr matey!

Yesterday, the Washington Post featured a pretty solid shot across the bow of Mitt Romney in a column by Minnesota Governor and 2012 hopeful Tim Pawlenty:
Massachusetts's experience should caution Congress against focusing primarily on access. While the Massachusetts plan has reduced the number of uninsured people, costs have been dramatically higher than expected. The result? Increased taxes and fees. The Boston Globe has reported on a current short-term funding gap and the need to obtain a new federal bailout.
Subtle? Not so much. And nor should it be.

Mitt has attached himself to Romneycare, for better or worse. Well actually, for worse. In reality, there really is no way to positively spin the program to conservatives. If future primary opponents continue to articulate its deficiencies as efficiently and effectively as Pawlenty does, then Romney's obnoxious wads of cash won't mean a thing.

Again.
