Unemployment is up to 9.4%. The highest since October, 1983.
As I've said over and over again, Republicans must repeat this mantra: "President Obama's $800 billion stimulus plan has failed."
The stimulus has going less than 6 months, Obama himself said that it would take up to a year to get the full effect of it. Economists have said that it could take up to 2 years to get the full effect of it, but once again, why let facts get in the way of perfectly good talking points.

Wow resorting to name calling, must have struck a nerve there. I'm just going to keep beating the same drum I have beaten time and time again, you dont want wasteful spending? Then lets get the hell out of Iraq, the 10 billion a month we have been throwing down that black hole for the past 7 years would have made the stimulus totally unnecessary. That war was a war of choice, and a poor choice at that.

I believe the decision to get out of Iraq is now President Obama's, so further costs incurred fall squarely on his refusal to withdraw. Or, I suppose, they could be transferred with the troops and equipment that he is surging into Afghanistan...
