Strickland pounded over in Dayton...

From a press release distributed by State Rep. Richard Adams, State Rep. Peggy Lehner, State Rep. Terry Blair, and State Rep. Ross McGregor:

“Ohioans elect us all to office to ensure that our great state is primed for prosperity at the forefront of national competition,” Rep. Richard Adams (R-Troy) said. “In order to get back into the competition, we must control our state spending and remove the tax burden and bureaucratic red tape that have become ubiquitous with the current House leadership.”

Ohio has lost 194,000 jobs in the past year alone, and nearly 20 percent of Ohioans find themselves unemployed or underemployed. The Dayton area alone has suffered major job exodus under Democratic leadership with the departure of DHL in Wilmington (8,000 jobs) and NCR of Dayton (1,200 jobs) to more business-friendly states.

“As a resident of Kettering, I’ve witnessed firsthand the job evacuation from Dayton,” Rep. Peggy Lehner (R-Kettering) said. “My colleagues and I have proposed plenty of legislation to put Ohioans back to work, but until some of our proposals get votes in committee, we can expect the same trend of job exodus and increasing unemployment.”
