It took a week....

...but Lee Fisher finally found himself someone to takeover as campaign manager.
Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher has named Lynne Bowman, founder of Equality Ohio, to manage his Democratic campaign for the U.S. Senate, the campaign said today.

Fisher spokesman John Collins said Bowman was selected because of her "long Ohio roots."

Bowman is the former executive director of Equality Ohio, a gay and transgender advocacy group, and she is Fisher's third campaign manager. Bowman replaces Jay Howser, who relinquished the day-to-day duties after recently getting married. He had replaced Geri Prado in February.
She was selected because of her "long Ohio roots"?

I don't know about you, but I think first on my list would be "proven ability to win campaigns". And I don't see that in her resume.

Of course, getting someone to takeover this campaign was probably like trying to get a replacement for Captain Smith after the Titanic hit that iceberg.
