Yesterday, I posted a column by Ben Marrison of the Columbus Dispatch.
In it, Marrison highlighted how the spokeswoman of the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Lindsay Komlanc, repeatedly stated that then Director Cathy Collins-Taylor made the final decision about calling off the now infamous sting at the Governor's mansion.
Later, after the political implications of the decision were determined, she recanted in front of the investigator and attacked the media for getting her initial statement "wrong".
Well, recently I was informed that in the confirmation hearing for Collins-Taylor it came out that since Komlanc recanted her initial claims to investigators that she was rewarded with a promotion within the DPS.
Apparently you get rewarded if you change your story to cover your boss' butt in the Strickland Administration.
