Anthony, you're famous. But not in a good way.

In his response to Tuesday night's debate, Anthony over at Ohio Daily Blog made the following statement:
Like much of tonight's debate, the words coming out of John Kasich's mouth were fiction. They aren't true tonight. They weren't true when they were brainstormed over the weekend. And they won't ring true when voters dismiss he candidacy this November. (In fact, someone please send me a photo of the Ohio couple in the Bob Evans with the napkin and I'll personally apologize to Congressman Kasich the next time I'm at his country club).
Wow. Called the GOP candidate out, eh? That's gotta hurt, right?

Well, we don't have a photo, Anthony. But it looks like CNN has a little video you may be interested in...

Now, I don't think Kasich has any time these days to go to any country clubs, but he's on the campaign trail quite a bit and I'm sure you can find time to seek him out next time he's in your neighborhood. I'm sure he'd gladly accept your apology.

In fact, keep a lookout on You can find his schedule of events, or even contribute.

Ultimately, I'd like to thank Anthony. Without those wise words, all the moderates in Ohio watching CNN may have seen some boring story detailing the jabs each candidate took at eachother. Instead, they got to see a story that simply made Kasich look good.

And that's a win.

  1. As if a video from CNN is even reliable. You're really reaching now Keeling! You know Kasich's Wall Street friends paid for the Bob Evens sound stage.

  2. OK that literally made me laugh out loud at my desk...

No profanity, keep it clean.
