The scariest word in the Governor's Administration right now? "Felonies."

Ted Strickland's Administration is falling apart months before its scheduled breakdown date two and a half months from now.

The Governor may have hoped the Department of Public Safety mess was over and done with, but it may be just beginning.
Chief Columbus City Prosecutor Lara Baker has been appointed a special prosecutor in an investigation of the former top attorney at the Ohio Department of Public Safety, a signal that the criminal probe involves potential felonies.

Baker already had been part of the review of the case involving Joshua Engel, who was fired late last month for intercepting all e-mail messages between his colleagues and the staff of the Ohio inspector general's office and The Dispatch.
How far down the rabbit hole will this go?
