I thought we were doing better than everyone else.

At least, that's what the Governor keeps telling us.

Then how do you explain this?:

...the survey shows the six-month forecast for sales and profits of those surveyed is weaker than in the spring. About half of the businesses surveyed have a neutral outlook about the local economy while about half are pessimistic...
But most importantly...
Ohio business owners are gloomier than their national counterparts.
If things are going so much better in Ohio than elsewhere, as the Governor attempts to state as fact, then why would those that know best feel this way?

  1. Pepper said he wants to better publicize the hot line and push for passage of legislation proposed by Taylor that would provide state whistle-blower protections to those who provide tips to the auditor.
